DSS-14E Burst

The DSS-14E Burst brings slope-shoulder Dreadnought style to the Road Series for the first time, offering a more accessible take on the comfortable body shape and stage-ready versatility found in Martin’s Nazareth-made DSS-16E models. Crafted with a solid spruce top in a vintage burst and solid sapele back and sides, this gloss-bodied acoustic-electric delivers warm, balanced tone with strong midrange character and a smooth, rounded low end. The short 24.9" scale length and satin Performing Artist neck with a high-performance taper give it a relaxed, modern feel in your hands, while scalloped spruce X- bracing adds resonance and response. An East Indian rosewood modern straightline bridge complements its clean, contemporary design. Martin E1 electronics with a built-in tuner make it ready to plug in, tune up, and take the stage—or wherever your next song leads.
