Underneath this attractive shell are all the hallmarks of Les Paul's quality you'd expect. Calibrated Burstbucker pickups provide the glorious PAF character that's graced countless tracks. With that vintage alnico warmth for creamy tones, and no shortage of bite either for those times you need powerful distortion. Accompanying that is Gibson's top-tier hardware, a TOM-bridge, Vintage Deluxe tuners, a rosewood fretboard and the retro gold Top Hat control knobs. That's all backed up with market-leading audio taper pots and Orange Drop capacitors to give you the sonic finesse you deserve.

Bursting with sonic flavour

With the Burstbucker pickups in this Les Paul Standard '50s, you can have all the tone in the world. Made from Alnico II magnets, they offer high output with a vintage PAF tone of old. The bridge position pickup will give your tone the bold boost and vintage twang that they need to sound rich, full, and vibrant.

The Burstbucker 1 in the neck is a medium-output humbucker which gives your notes that rich creaminess which fills the room. Lead notes will have a full, flawless bottom end, whilst being able to scream and wail as much as you like. Whether playing with gain or clean as a whistle, every note will be defined and saturated. With this pickup combination providing a solid foundation for your sound, your tone will be electrifying.
