With the Vintage VMX Series V100 Satin Black, Vintage Guitars sends a legitimate metal guitar in Singlecut design into the race, whose sinister look and brutal sound is very much in the spirit of the Metal Axxe series from the early 2000s. Based on the classic set-neck design, the strictly limited V100VMX guitar features not only a mahogany body with solid maple top, but also a fast-playing "Soft C" mahogany neck with a fretboard bearing a distinctive XX inlay. Wilkinson WMSH open-coil humbuckers create the basis for a juicy distortion Distortion with cultivated aggressiveness and maximum assertiveness even at low tunings. naturally, highly reliable attachments from Wilkinson complete the equipment of the Vintage V100VMX Satin Black electric guitar from the VMX series.

Set-neck construction with agile playing characteristics

For the construction of the matte black VMX V100 guitar Vintage relies on the well-known combination of singlecut design and set-neck construction to combine comfortable playing characteristics with a richly pressing sound. The mahogany body carries an arched top made of solid maple, while the glued mahogany neck comes as a single piece and carries a rosewood fingerboard. The flat "Soft C" neck profile also fits comfortably in the hand, allowing adept high-speed solos and driving riffs to be realized with ease. In addition to classic Trapez-Inlays, a distinctive double X in the 12th fret also marks the positions.

With two power-packed Wilkinson WMSH open-coil humbuckers, the Vintage VMX Series V100 makes a splash on the guitar amp. Optimally tailored for scorching metal tones, the dual coils rely on huge hex pole pieces and hot-wound coils to put maximum pressure on the amp and elicit a juicy Distortion that's ideal for fluid high-gain solos and whipping riffing thanks to its massive midrange and aggressive punch. In addition to the 3-way pickup selector switch, electric offers dedicated volume and tone pots for each pickup to precisely adjust the guitar tone.

Last but not least, Vintage equips the VMX Series V100 Satin Black with indestructible Wilkinson parts that guarantee unlimited reliability of the singlecut guitar. On the body, a traditional Stopbar guides the strings over the Wilkinson T.O.M. bridge, whose adjustments guarantee accurate intonation and comfortable string action even when using powerful string sets and the lowest tunings. At the headstock, Wilkinson WJ04 tuners with beautiful Tulip wings also ensure precise and robust tuning of the guitar.
