Gibson Les Paul Faded Double Cutaway - Used

Regular price £895.00 £0.00

Gibson Les Paul Faded Double Cut finished in Worn Cherry.

Made in USA - 2006

Based on the Les Paul Special with a nitro finish and 2 P90 pick-ups.

This guitar is in very good condition but does show signs of use. There's little bumps and grooves in the body like you get on a well-loved guitar but nothing has broken the finish to the wood. The back of the neck has faded from use; common on a nitro finish.

The frets have plenty of life left and are in great shape with just a little wear but nothing that needs any attention at the moment. The rosewood fingerboard is in great shape too.

Great opportunity to buy a very cool Gibson at a great price!

Weight is 3.28kg

Gibson padded gig bag included.

The killer classic double cut with P90 edge and vibrant nitro finish

Gibson USA adds the well-played look of its popular ‘worn’ finishes to a legendary LP design with the new Les Paul Faded Double Cutaway. Available in Worn Cherry and Worn Yellow nitrocellulose lacquer finishes, these new musical instruments have the aura of classic Les Paul Specials and Juniors from 1958-60. The new Les Paul Faded – Double Cutaway has a pair of single-coil P-90 pickups, like the original LP Special. The 2-pickup Les Paul Special was introduced in 1955 as an intermediate model, positioned between the low-cost Les Paul Junior and the LP. But you also get cool feel, wide-open vibrant tone, and a whole lot of guitar for very little cash. Originally available only in a single cutaway, the Special was changed in 1959 to a double cutaway model. Other features include a ’60s-style slim-taper mahogany neck and mahogany body which add to the resonance and great sustain, unbound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, nickel and chrome-plated hardware.
